Marin Headlands 2 Frameset
Marin Headlines 2 uses undirectional carbon fiber resulting in a stronger and more rigid frame. This technology enhances rigidity, strength, and weight-saving, especially in the critical areas of a bike frame, and makes the bicycle more efficient in terms of performance. The Headlands 2 also features a carbon fiber fork, which gives a smooth and responsive ride; creating our lightest, highest-performance Beyond Road bike to date.
The removable seat stay brace allows you to easily add fenders for bad weather riding and commuting while preserving a clean smooth appearance when you don't need the protection. The difference with the previous series is that this gravel bike already uses a dropper seat post with internal routing to ease you adjusting the seat from the cockpit in any condition.

Compared to Marin Headlines 1, Marin Headlines 2 features a higher groupset in terms of quality and performance with a mixed groupset 1x11 speed. The Shimano GRX M8000 sprocket is designed for more serious gravel riders who require a more refined, durable, and performance-oriented drivetrain. The Shimano GRX STX801 shifter is a high-end gravel groupset that enhances gravel-specific performance, ergonomics, and durability under adverse environments.
The 1x11-speed is ideal for both climbing and rapid, flat parts. The dependable gearing system provides for seamless shifting, giving you the freedom to tackle steep climbs and rapid descents with ease. Furthermore, the use of hydraulic disc brakes ensures forceful and steady braking in all weather situations.
The Marin Headlands 2 comes with larger 700x44c tires to improve comfort and grip on tough surfaces. The double wall rims are intended to endure the rigors of gravel riding. The frame clearance fit up to 700cx45/650Bx50 tires, and when combined with the comfortable bike geometry, the gravel bike takes cues from modern mountain bikes on a technical off-road trail while remaining comfortable, fast, and efficient on flatter terrain.
The internal cable routing and plentiful mounts on the frame mean you can outfit your bike with your favorite accessories, with mounts positioned around the front triangle, while traditional rack and fender mounts can transform your bike into a powerful commuter bike.
