With this new rubber compound Schwalbe was able to improve its tires in almost all disciplines. The development goal for the Thunder Burt was to combine the best of Racing Ralph and Furious Fred in one tire. When it comes to grip, Thunder Burt is hot on his heels with his many small studs Racing Ralph and when it comes to rolling resistance, he even overtakes the furious Fred.
